TYPES OF VISA
- Visitor, Tourist and Transit Visas;

- Subject to regularization (STR).
Visas Requirements
General: The Immigration office which handles
visa applications is open to the public between 10.00 a.m. and 12p.m.
Monday, Tuesday,Thursday and Friday except on public holidays, and
Mondays - Fridays for Nigerian Nationals. All visa
applications that are walked in will be processed within three
working days if the requirements are met and money for exact fees
are attached. Forms that are not fully completed signed and dated or
with incomplete requirements, supporting documents will not be
accepted. Non-refundable fees are charged on the basis of
reciprocity. The fee for a single entry visa is $200.00.
The STR fee is $250.00 and the TWP fee is $250.00. Call the visa office on tel.# (044)
2545850, 2545851 if you need assistance. Evidence of sufficient fund
for the visit or proof of other satisfactory arrangements for your
support while you are in Nigeria. The visa officer may ask for other
information from the applicants if deemed necessary. The applicants
may be requested to come for an interview as and when necessary.
1) Visitors, Tourist and
Transit Visas
A. Valid passport (at least 6 months to expiration). B. Two
recent passport photograph. C. A copy of round-trip ticket.
(For non-Nigerians) D. Letter of invitation accepting
immigration responsibility or evidence of financial support while
in Nigeria from individual Nigerians or Nigerian organizations, faxed to the Embassy from Nigeria.
E. Applicants for transit visas must submit copies of their
onward tickets and visas to their destinations. F. Children
must submit copies of their birth certificates showing names of
their two parents. G. Children of Nigerian parents must submit
copies of the information page of both parents passport. H.
Tourist must submit copies of their certified hotel reservation
statements. I. Resident aliens inviting friends must submit
copies of their resident permits and the information page of their
passports. J. Foreigners married to Nigerians or invited by
Nigerians must submit copies of their hosts' or spouses' passports
and letters accepting responsibility. K. HIV/AIDS Test Free Certificate.
L. Appropriate fee in U.S. dollars.
2) Business /Education/
Religious visas
a. Valid passport (at least 6 moths to expiration) b. Two
recent passport photographs c. A copy of round-trip ticket
d. If going for business, letters of invitation from companies
or business organizations stating the reason must be
submitted e. If going for religious purpose, approval from the
ministry of internal affairs, Abuja, Nigeria must be
submitted f. If going for educational visit, a letter of
invitation from the host university or school stating its purpose
must be submitted g. If a student, you must submit a copy of
your identification card, with an accompanying letter from your
institution h. HIV/AIDS Test Free Certificate. i. Appropriate fee in U.S money order only
NOTE:d, e or f must be faxed to the Embassy from Nigeria.
3) Temporary work
permit (TWP)
a. A valid passport (at least 6 months to expiration) b. Two
recent passport photographs c. Approval from Nigeria for
temporary work permit (original copy) and a copy faxed to the Embassy from Nigeria. d. HIV/AIDS Test Free Certificate. e. Appropriate fee in
U.S. Dollars only
4. Subject to regularization (STR)
a. A valid passport (at least 6 months to expiration) b.
Completed application forms in quadruplicate c. Four recent
full face passport photographs d. Four certified copies of
expatriate quota approval from Nigeria or approval from Nigeria
for STR and Letter of Invitation, faxed to the Embassy from Nigeria. e. Four certified copies of all credentials and
certificates f. Four copies of Letter of employment g. Four
copies of Letter of acceptance h. All of the above should be
submitted in four sets, not separately. i. HIV/AIDS Test Free Certificate. j. Appropriate fee in
U.S. money order only
REQUIREMENTS
FOR ISSUANCE OF NEW PASSPORTS
Please Note:At present the Nigerian Embassy, Kiev is not issuing passports because of non avalaibility of booklets. But the
Embassy can give a letter of introduction to Moscow or to any other Nigerian Embassy, preferred by the Applicant for the issuance of passport.
Under Normal Procedure: 1. Passport application form (Application for a Nigeria Standard
Passport) must be properly and correctly completed in the
applicant's own hand writing 2. Signatures or thumbprint must be
properly complete WITHIN the box provided on the application form.
The signatures or thumbprint must be properly completed only by the
applicant and not by ANY OTHER PERSON. It does not necessarily have
to be done in front of a police officer. 3.

4. 2 (two) recent passport size photographs showing full face
Top 5. The old passport must be turned in along
with the application 6. All professions and change of name
(married women) must be supported with appropriate documents. 7.
The applicant’s office address and telephone number should be
provided 8. Re-issuance of passports may be delayed if
application forms are not properly and correctly completed 9.
Applicants should write down a phone number where they can be
contacted. 10. Children of Nigerian parents wishing to apply for
Nigerian passports should in addition to the above enclose a copy of
the child’s birth certificate, letter of consent from both parents,
copy of parent’s passport, information page only.

PASSPORT RENEWAL
(I) Please, fill in the passport renewal form. (II) Get it
signed by respectable well known Nigerian citizen. (Ill)
Accompany the above with photocopy of your passport (pages
1-4). (IV) Submit all the above to the Immigration Assistant
not later than 12: 00 o'clock. Collect
renewed passport
by 15 : 00 o'clock with $ 30.00 on same

NON-CRIMINAL
CERTIFICATE

Please, forward your application, give the following
information: (i) Full name and contact
address. (ii) Passport number. (iii) Date of
arrival to Ukraine and what you have been doing till
date. (iv) Bring forward letter of recommendation from
Nigerian community signed by President or Secretary and photostat copy of your passport (page
1-4). (v) Take an oath that you have never be convicted in
Nigeria. (vi) Fill in our form for non-criminal record.
(vii) Forward all these to Consular Assistant. Retrieve
your request two days after submission of
application with $ 10.00 (

CERTIFICATE OF BACHELORHOOD (a) Please, forward your
application, stating:
• Your full name; • Passport No;. • Address in
Ukraine; • Telephone number; • Name of fiance, national
ID/ passport number; residence Address, telephone
No. Attach photocopy of your passport (pages 1-4), photocopy
of fiance national ID/ passport (page1-2). Submit all the
above to Consular Assistant who will give you and your fiance an
appointment for an interview. Collect certificate with $ 10.00
two days after date of your interview. (Old notes is not

SWEARING AFFIDAVIT OF
AGE
(a) Please, forward your application,
stating:
• Your full name; • Passport number; • Address in
Ukraine; • Telephone number.
(b) Attach photocopy of pages 1-4 of your passport. (c) Submit
this to the Consular Assistant. (d) Collect the certificate in
two days after submission of the application. (e) Your charge is
$ 10.00 only ( old note is not accepted,

CHILD INSERTION INTO
PASSPORT
(a) Please, fill the child insertion form. (b) Bring forward
two passport photographs of the baby with her/his:
Birth certificate (With English translation). • Bring
forward your marriage certificate with the mother ( With
English translation). • Bring forward a photocopy of your
passport and wife national ID Card. • Fill application for
the child insertion. • Submit all the
above to Immigration Assistant not later than 12 : 00 o'clock.
Collect processed passport at 15 : 00 o'clock on the same day
of submission with $10.00 ( Old note is not accepted,

IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT
Please, put forward an application- telling the Embassy
your full name, state of origin, address in Nigeria. Tell us
what happened to your passport with the following: What
happen? When, where, why and how. Obtain
police report, translate it into English. Submit
to Immigration Assistant between 10.00 hrs. with $10.00.
Please note: The Identification document is free of charge, if you are registered with the Nigerian Community or with the Nigerian Embassy.
Note: Old dollar note is not accepted.
